California-scoped conservation and land-use datasets supporting 30x30 and related analysis, served cloud-native from NRP S3 (https://s3-west.nrp-nautilus.io/public-ca30x30/). Browse the full set via the STAC collection (stac-collection.json). All layers are in OGC:CRS84 / EPSG:4326.
Statewide California Land Conservation Act (Williamson Act) contract enrollment parcels from the CA Department of Conservation, Division of Land Resource Protection (DLRP), classified by contract type in the WA_Type field:
Five per-year collections (for mapping) plus a merged all-years collection (for time-series analysis). Counts are a download snapshot as of 2026-07-01 — the DLRP service is continuously edited by counties, so counts drift over time.
License: public-domain (DOC Conditions of Use). Distinct from the FMMP "Important Farmland" layer (soil/land-quality classes), which also lives in this bucket.

H3 hex (res 10). Acreage is a per-record value repeated on every cell a parcel covers — never SUM(Acreage) directly on hex; dedup by _cng_fid first:
Data notes: APN_Number may be blank (some counties don't submit it) and is not unique (a parcel can span multiple WA_Type sub-areas). The upstream Year field is a per-record value of mixed vintage — for the snapshot year use the collection year (per-year) or snapshot_year (merged). Data is county-submitted and currency varies by county.
